TOULOUSE-LAUTREC: Drawing Movement
RECORDING ONLY: Watch immediately once booked until the 11th May 2024
DURATION: 2 hours
🎶 PLAYLIST INCLUDED 🎶
Taught by artist and tutor Frances Stanfield

We will be exploring Toulouse-Lautrec's elegant figurative drawings and how we can imitate his technique and inject our own drawings with expressive energy! We will also learn about and draw the women that were so integral to his works.
LDG tutor Frances Stanfield will guide you in ways to recreate his dynamic use of line - one which communicated so vividly the movement within his world of singers, dancers, circus performers and musicians.

This is an incredible opportunity to learn and develop the dynamic possibilities of drawing from movement and how we can make a drawing that allows us to see several moments at once. Capturing movement is a wonderful skill that can be taken from this class and applied to drawing in your everyday life, whilst you're out and about, at home with family and friends or whilst watching telly!

You will be drawing from moving image amongst other exciting subjects presented by Frances online.
