Sadly, Gene Wilder died yesterday at the age of 83. Mr. Wilder has delighted me and made me laugh over the years, often at times when I most needed it. I particularly continue to be amazed at his performance in Young Frankenstein, one of my favorite films on many levels. He apparently died from complications from Alzheimer's and had kept his diagnosis a secret in an attempt to not upset his fans.
